This property has been a ranch for well over 100 years. At one time there was a blacksmith shop on the property. By using a metal detector we have found numerous artifacts like horse shoes, horse bits, mule shoes and implements.
There was also a cotton gin located several hundred yards away from the blacksmith shop. The corner of the foundation is still intact. A hand dug well, which is now filled in, is also located on the ranch.
There are quite a few live oaks on the property many of which are over 200 hundred years old. Roaming wildlife includes deer, wild turkeys, coyotes, racoons, skunks, and wild pigs.
